Just wondering if there are any other Rome applicants still out there? We applied for spousal sponsership (me Canadian, spouse is Italian) July 2015.....18 months and still waiting. Received a notice to re-do medicals in December, which was done and sent on December 22nd. So hopefully will hear something soon. Just received case notes and there was nothing really concerning, relationship was golden with no concerns, recent medicals were received, and kind of looks like they are still doing security checks of some sort.....a little hard to decipher. All in all it's just really frustrating not knowing what exactly is taking so long. Average wait time is 11 months.
