Any rejections in IP2 / BG2 stage?

Hello Friends,

My Time line:

AOR - 26 March
Meds - 26 May
NBG - 27 May
NA2 - 31 May
IP - 19 June
NA - 26 June

So I have heard and known that we get NBG (IP1) and the Background check goes In Progress again and we call it IP2, which happened for me on 19th June.

But I never heard about NA after IP2. I am not sure how it happened and why did this happened. Because the timing of it going to NA is in the afternoon time of India on Monday.

Could this be a system glitch??

Need your help to figure this out and if anyone has faced or seen someone with the same issue.

I have seen one more user reported the same. I think it is due to June 6 updates but he should get PPR request soon!

Thank You for all the support till now.
I received ITA on 31.5.2017, I am planning to submit all documents in few days now. I dont have clear picture of things after submitting docs. Please help me in getting clear with below things:

1. What does eAPR means, does this means an acknowledgement after submitting all documents and paying fees?
2. After submitting all documents, what will happen? Do they approve all documents in one go? or they will update one by one, like first medical approval, then proof of funds approval, then employment approval, then etc etc approvals.
3. If I submit all documents on 1st July 2017, and everything goes smooth after that, By when I can get the final decision of getting PR(AUG/SEP/OCT/NOV?). In what time people are getting these as per the current express entry processing times?
4. Once I get final decision, What is the step by step process? like going to embassy, stamping, going to canada, collecting PR from Canada, etc, etc. Let say I get final decision in September, then by when can we fly?

My responses to your questions in same numeric pattern:
1. Yes
2. Nothing is approved except Medicals Pass until you get PR. if you are FSWO, then your medicals pass in about 70 days and then back ground checks happen in which they determine on all other things but you don't get to know what are they working on exactly. But people have come up with many things they work on at different stages but nothing is confirmed.
3. the time period is 6 months as per CIC, but on an average you can expect PR in 90-120 days.
4. Once you get the email of your PPR (PassPort Request) for PR stamping, you need to send your passport for stamping in local Visa office, which would be mentioned in email. once your PR is stamped, you can travel to Canada any time before the date, you took your medical exam.

Thanks.. but getting worked up on this NA3 thing.. June 6 updates affecting on June 26.. i dont think so.. may be something else.. may be PPR coming tonight.

I think your are right here. June 6 update had affect on profiles on the same day . Changes on June 26 are not related to the upgrade.

Hello All,

My AOR is 26 March 2017 and my Background check status changed 2nd time on 19th june.

I have seen people getting PPR same day as IP2/BG2 or may be in next 2 to 3 days or a week.

Does anyone know of a case where the rejection happened at this stage and what was the reason.

Also what are checks going on at this stage as I am getting anxious and want to resign in my company asap.

I did not go through a consultant and did file the application on my own and I feel thats the best way.

Yea, I have also seen another case like this, maybe its cause of the updates, as per your AOR date, you should be getting PPR soon! Do share the good news with us!

I have been on IP2 for 3 months now!! Inland FSW AOR JAN 6th.
From what I see in other topics, you might go under a very looooong background check that sometimes lasts 12 months!! So either you get ppr a few days after IP2 or you're gonna be one of those who are going to have to wait :\

Are u kidding me.. 12 months? its been 9 days since IP2.. and looking at the speed at which I got IP2.. my PPR is coming this week.. will be sharing the good news soon..

For your case.. Jan 6 AOR FSWO.. I think you missed the email. it comes in Promotions folder or Spam or Junk email folders.. check again if you did not delete it by mistake.. if not.. call CIC right away.. they are working today and if you have got PPR and you missed it, they will send the email again..

Same thing happened to 1 of the guys i know of and then he got the email again after 3 to 4 days.. so plz call CIC.. good luck..

Okay, thanks.. but what did they tell you when called them ? I am sure you must have got your GCMS notes and must have called them!

I'm FSWO and my status changed as follows, after medicals was passed:
1. Background check = "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check."
Application Status = "We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."
2. Background check = "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
Application Status = "We are processing your application. We will send you a message.............................."
3. Background check = "Not applicable."
Application Status = "We are processing your application. We will send you a message.............................."

I was confused too , and i preferred not to call the BG status in 1 & 2 above, IP1. But after it changed to NA, I knew that both had to be IP1
So for me it was IP1 (a) & IP1(b)
Note that at point 2, the application status also changed from "we received ........." to "we are processing .........." Though for me the meaning of 1 & 2 above for BG, seems to be saying the same thing.

Do you happen to know what ip1 looks like for fswo?
