Thank you. I have another question, one of my friend told me that I need to be here in Canada for 6 months before I get married to my partner. Is this right? I landed as an international student last May this year.
my then-fiance came to Canada on a visitor visa literally 6 days before our wedding. we went to City Hall to get our marriage license 3 days before the wedding. he stayed in Canada for the full 6 months and then went back to his home country to wait out the immigration process. no issues at all. so no, you don't need to be in Canada for any specific length of time before you get married :) good luck to the two of you!

One potential red flag that you didn't touch on is if there is a difference in education.

Really, worrying about red flags is pointless because it's not going to change your situation, so deal with it if and when it becomes an actual problem.
