I am applying for ontario nomination and I found a contradicting statement in there website.
In the below link it is mentioned 'Please provide original language test results' and 'submit the original Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report'

However, in the ontario nomination guide (below is a link to that) it is mentioned 'If you have a foreign degree, submit a copy of the ECA' and 'Please provide copies of language test results from either IELTS (General Training
Test only), CELPIP (General Test only), or TEF. '

Can somebody who has already received a nomination advice me on this?

- It is strictly advised to have funds in the name of PA. In your case, you will have to get a letter of consent (accepted by banks) wherein you are allowed to withdraw funds all by yourself.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to check, I am considering applying for the PNP and wated to know how long can I wait before I move once I get the PR?

I dont want to quit and move to Canada unless either my wife or I have a job there. The plan was that she moves and looks for a job while I hold the fort. Is that possible, or do we need to move right away if we go via PNP. My understanding is that the PR is for 4 years and I need to be in the country for 2 out of those 4 years for it to be renewed.

- within 1 year from date of your medical examination or before your passport expires, whichever is early.
- You need to enter once and complete the formalities, and than get your PR card (usually you will receive it via post at local Canadian address with 3 2 months or so). You can stay their for a week or so and than return back. Ask your wife to send/courier/hand carry your PR card as you will need this to travel back to Canada. You need minimum 2 years out of 5 top retain your PR status and 3 years to become eligible for citizenship.

does anyone know when they resubmit their EE profile, do they have to delete their current profile or is it better to create the new profile first then delete the old profile to be on the safe side.

CIC online services seems to be done so i cant go past the page where they tell me what I could qualify for so I can create the new EE profile.

- if you use same mycic login, your old profile will be retained until it expires automatically after 1 year.
- Go ahead withdraw the old one and delete the old job bank and than create a new EE profile with same mycic login abut a fresh job bank ID

Guys, My spouse doesn't have any work history or education history in Canada.
In OOPNP Application, should I keep it as Blank or should I write N/A after printing the application.

And the same questions for family member accompanying to Canada, after printing, Family Member 2 thru 6 are blank, should I write N/A or leave it as it is?

Education history (Principal Applicant only): I am a B.Tech. Graduate, should I mention only B.Tech duration there or should I include +2 as well as it is mentioned list all post secondary education.

- write N/A in first row and you should be fine
- upto you. Recommended to use only highest education supported by ECA, degree copy, transcripts etc.

Hi, I am also confused by this conflicting statements. What I am doing is, sending a photocopy of my IELTS test results along with my application form and I have also asked IDP India (the organization which conducted my IELTS test) to send them the original Test Results directly to OINP office via courier. I will be writing a cover letter to OINP stating the same.

Better safe than sorry

Also when I was corresponding with OINP using Ask an Expert feature. I recieved one more information which was not mentioned in either the website or the application guide.

Both the website and application guide state that the ECA report should be submitted. I was under the impression that I would need to send them the copies of my ECA, but I got this reply:

PLEASE NOTE: Please contact your ECA-issuing organization to arrange for an original report or official copy to be sent directly to OINP by mail or by email (Ontarionominee@ontario.ca). All emails from ECA organizations must be sent from their official email address and contain the name, title and contact information of the organization's representative. The ECA report must be included as an attachment.

Please keep this in mind when preparing your application package.

You have a really good chance. If you dont get a PT for OINP in next week, then i'd suggest you to make a new profile with new details and new ielts score and hope that you get PT soon.

Yes. I am doing same for my ECS. Although my ECA is from ICAS of Canada, not from WES.

i have just submitted my full application to OPNP but i have sent my photocopies of wes and ielts results, now do i have to send them originals also ? the guide says pls dont submit originals docs as they would not be returned and in case originals are required we would ask for ...

what is the way forward now and how did you contact ontario immigration dept

I contacted OINP using the Ask an Expert section http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/questions/OI_QUESTIONS_EXPERT.html

Do not send your original copy. Instead ask WES and IELTS to send the original copy to OINP directly. Contact WES and your IELTS organization for more details.

I havent written N/A where missing information was not required but apart from that i think my form is pretty complete and legit.

I have mentioned in the initial stages as Single/Not married and i havent written N/A where they ask you about your spouse's details,education,work experience section whereas information that was related to me is pretty complete(Name,Signature,Education,work exp,ielts,home address,EE number, job code).

Also i didnt write N/A where they ask you for CIC number considering this is my first time applying as FSW which i already ticked in the form

Do u think this will result in returning of the application? ???
