Hi guys,

I am the primary applicant and awaiting ITA, which i may hopefully receive it in coming months.

I lost my mother long back. Just wanted to enquire, if at any stage post ITA, death certificate of parents is asked.
Sorry for asking but some of you in similar situation may have encountered this question?

I have one question regarding the translation of the documents. Plz help me

According to IRCC:
"Translation of documents

If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with a copy of the original document as well as a version translated by a certified translator.

If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translations; and
a certified photocopy of the original document."


My daughter's birth certificate is in Punjabi. The English or French translation and an affidavit from the person who completed the translations is ok. Next should I provide certified photocopy of the original document or the original document or both?

Plus I wanted to confirm what is a certified photocopy of the original document?Should I get the original xeroxed and self certify it or someone else should certify It?

Plz help me resolve the issue.

have question, anyone is welcome to answer, I got my IELTS score last Friday and created a ee profile and made it to pool. I put a fabricated IELTS test report form number with a formula in the combination of year+Country+candidate number+lastne 3 letter and first name 1 letter+test centre number+module(G).

I created profile with this certificate number thinking I should not miss out the draw as my score is 466.

Can I still edit this certificate number after I receive ITA? I confirmed this with my friend that he said only score should not be altered certificate number can be altered even after you get ITA.

Please confirm.

I would not recommend that because any change you make to your EE profile post ITA you need to submit a letter of Explanation of why you made the changes. You can't say wanted to enter pool and so gave any generated number. If the number is one letter here and there still you can say it was a typo...because you would be changing date of report and everything.

Thank you mate. Dates marks and everything is right. My trf number is combination of the details which is there in my previous report form. So I generated that for my current result.

I know it's the risk. But some people succeeded by generating this number by themselves.

from a public post-secondary school, such as a college, trade/technical school, university or CEGEP (in Quebec)
from a private post-secondary school that operates under the same rules as public schools
a diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) or an attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP) earned through a qualifying study program of at least 900 hours from a private school in Quebec, or
a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from a Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law. (The student must have been enrolled in a study program that led to a degree as set out by the province.)

**I studied at Niagara College Niagara Falls Ontario.
**Does it apply to me or is it just for those who studied in Quebec? Should I answer Yes or No?
**I did 2 years of Diploma at niagara College Ontario.

I have used the manager assistant for temporary resident visa, but I found this was not offer the NOC, my immigration agent said you can use the 1241 administrate assistant for apply the immigration, he said the administrate assistant is including the manager assistant job duty, so can i apply the job title for EE ? (I had worked a shipping company for 2 years)

Need help urgently!!

Hello,

I have received ITA and now in process of submitting the application and documents under CEC. I have a few questions:

1. I have been working for the same company from last 3 years and have been promoted last year, months after the Express Entry profile was submitted. The new position also falls under the same NOC and I did not update the EE profile as it was not affecting the points. Can anyone tell me if it is OK to enter the new position/title in the PR application?

2. The employment offer I have dates back to 2014 and doesn't state the NOC code (which is a requirement for the job offer) - the question is, would it suffice to state everything on the employment record (which will also show the current position) and upload both employment record and job offer together?

3. In my document checklist, it shows 'Employment records' 2 times - is that a glitch?

4. What is a letter of Employment?

Hi,

I received an ITA a few weeks back and now in the process of completing my application. I intend to do my medical exam and get my proof of funds from the bank in the next few weeks.

I have a couple of questions which i would be grateful to have answered:

1) I have just completed my work history section which stretches back around 10 years. In that time I have had 7 different jobs and not all of them are relevant to my NOC code. Trying to obtain a reference for each of those jobs would prove difficult for me, so I was wondering if I could omit the jobs from my work experience that are not relevant to the NOC code (but keep them in the personal history section) and just leave the ones that cover a minimum of 3 years?

2) If my work experience predates the date in which i "qualified" to practice in my occupation, is that work experience still considered acceptable for the minimum 3 years i require for my application?

You need to transmit the changes too. Did you esign and submit your profile again. Its takes normally 24 hours to update the profile.

If you are sure about the number generated and have read people succeed then you can take the risk. Maybe you can use thenumber from previous report and can explain in LOE that you forgot to change the report number. That could work instead of generating your own code. Absolutely your choice !! All the best !
