If your Masters degree was relevant to NOC 2147 - Computer Engineers then you should mention 2010. You haven't mentioned what qualification you picked up in 2013 but if that helped you qualify for the work experience under NOC 2147 then you should mention 2013 (or whenever you finished said qualification as you say it only started in 2013).aspireimmi said:Hi every1,

Your choice. Safer to stick with All provinces and territories unless you have very strong reasons to choose a particular province because you might be eligible/want to apply for a provincial nomination at some point in time and all provinces allow you to apply/find you eligible provided you have chosen this option instead of a particular province.aspireimmi said:thanks ASIVAD ANAC.
one more question please.
Which Provinces or Territories would HAMED ALI MIR consider living in?
should i tick ALL PROVINCES AND TERRITORIES or tick all the boxes . please advise.

All provinces have 2 PNP streams at least and 1 of them is exclusively through EE. Even Ontario doesn't have job offer as a precondition but they have other stringent eligibility criteria.haris86 said:Asivad - I have another question regarding EE.
What's the difference between PNP and general EE or they are the same?
I see many posts claiming that they managed to get a nomination from one of the province. But when I visit the province immigration sites, most of them require a job offer for me to be eligible for any of their immigration programme.
I guess saskatchewan is the only province that has a EE program without job offer - Correct me if wrong.
Can you throw some light on how to get nomination from province and which other provinces have similar immigration programs?

1-what is the minimum number of months funds should be maintained in the account before reply to ITA.
No such minimum criteria established by CIC.
2- By profession I am engineer and working as an Engineer but my IQAMA ( visa says WELDER ) . what impact will i have on my application ? will there be any problem while filling the application? I am working in KSA and i mentioned 2147 work experience in the EE profile.
I believe your work visa status in KSA won't impact your PR application as much as the work reference letters that you can provide in support of choosing a particular NOC to be eligible for FSWP. CRS scores are indifferent to NOC and they max out at 3 years of work experience.
thanks, you are always helpful.

I have two questions:
1. Work experience: I have one year and 5 months at one job, 1 year 2 months at the other job, and essentially 10 months in the third job. I am assuming this would come down to 2 years only. However, my last (10-month) position was from mid-January to mid-December. My question is: does CIC ask for specific dates or just a range because in that case, if I say January-December, it would make it one full year and would increase my points by 25? All of these are in the same NOC.
If it is in the same NOC, you can add them up even if they are discontinuous and get 11 points on the FSWP 100 points grid.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
If all this experience was gained in the last 10 years, you can add them up to get 3 years and max out on the work experience bit of CRS points. EE calculates work history on MM-YYYY format so the actual dates don't matter. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp
2. General points accumulation: My English is at an advanced level, all sections above 8. I have a masters degree and 2 (or 3) years of experience. My husband has language scores in 7 range, a bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience. Yet, we only manage to accumulate 407 points. How do we get this to go up?
Is that CLB 8 or IELTS 8? You appear to have 2 years and 17 months (3 years and 5 months) across jobs. Is that NOC 0/A/B?
I'm assuming that you're applying under FSWP. Have you created your EE profile already? Your overall CRS score seems lower than it should be in your case.
Thanks for your help!
Thank you for your reply! Getting an ECA done by the PEBC is quite expensive and time consuming though. I don't know yet if I would get a PR.Asivad Anac said:There are 2 reasons for getting an ECA done - To gain CRS points by demonstrating Canadian equivalency for educational qualification AND to be allowed to practice regulated professions such as yours but that may require additional licensing formalities as well.
In your case, if you don't want to be a practitioner, you'll still have to get an ECA done to gain points and be eligible for EE in the first place. You can choose not to get an ECA done for your pharmacy degree and just get an ECA done for your post secondary education. But that is likely to get you far lesser CRS score than is required to get an ITA.
Hope that clarifies. All the best!
