I withdrew my old application and created a new one. Then I used the new application number and job seeker code to UPDATE my Job Bank account (didn't create a new one).

Is it ok to do this?

Usually takes 8 - 24 hours. Sometimes, even a little more.

I have just received my IELTS score (L 8.5, R 8.5, W 7 S 7), 3 yrs work experience, started working full time after completion of 3 yrs bachelor's degree and completed 2 yrs masters(morning classes) while working, 28 yrs married, wife has completed 3 yrs bachelors too with ielts not done, can you please help me with score calculation??

Hi all,

My application for EE is active at this moment and I am applying with my spouce.
He did not take the IELTS exam. I am the leading candidate.
As far as I can see the only affect by far is not being awarded additional points for language skills for him.

My questions is - in case we are sent the ITA, is it obligatory that he passes the IELTS too? Can we apply for PR without him having a IELTS certificate or we should include this in the docs after we have ITA?

Interesting terminology - "Leading candidate" .

IELTS for dependant is not mandatory. It doesn't do anything else other than adding points to your CRS!

I have been nominated by SINP and now I got ITA from CIC, kindly guide me about following things. I will be much thankful for your kind advice.
1. The uploaded documents should be in color or grey (as grey documents takes one 3rd space)
2. Birth certificates of Principal applicant & spouse and "Provincial Nomination letter" should be uploaded in "Letter of Explanation" or some where else.
3. Under "Letter of Explanation" only one PDF file can be uploaded or multiple file can also be uploaded.
4. The explanation about proof of funds should be along bank statement or it should also be uploaded in "Letter of Explanation".
5. How many pages of passports should be scanned and uploaded.

My application was returned as I did not attached reference letter.I had attached all my appointment letters,pay slips, exit letters. ON receiving the returned application package, I contacted all of my employers for sharing the reference letter and informed them that

Letters Must Be:

written on company letterhead
signed by responsible supervisor
show companies full address
stamped.

Letters must include:

Period of employment
positions you have held and time period for each
main responsibilities in each position
total annual salary plus benefits for each position
number of hours per week in each position

However one of the past employers no longer exist(got acquired by another company), and new entity is not responding. Rest of the employers agreed to share reference letter, but again they said not all of the requested detail can be mentioned due to company policy restriction. Even the current and past supervisors are finding them handicapped by company rules, and unable to help.

I am in a catch 22 situation. Please suggest what I can do.
