Hello, I was just wondering - if me and my common law partner arrived in Canada on an skilled working express entry visa would she also be allowed to find work while being the plus one on my application? Myself would be the main applicant. Thanks.

You do not need to attach the ECA copy if you are still in the stages of creating EE profile. Only when you get a nomination, you should attch scan copy. From your question, I can assume that you are talking about creating EE profile. While creating EE profile, all you need is the reference number from the ECA copy and you can use this from the copy you have received.

I have a question about two point categories...

Level of Education: Two or more diplomas, certificates, or degrees...

I have an Associates of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelors of Science in Education; while technically they are two separate degrees from two different schools, does that actually fulfill the requirements for the above category or is the spirit of that more geared toward different certificates in different subjects, as the AAT was more or less a stepping stone at a community college toward transferring and earning my bachelors. Same question for the transferrability education points....

Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer.

Both of these questions included an option for 3 year or bachelors degree, which is all most teachers get if they go straight to university after secondary. Thanks!!

You do whatever you want but just ensure that they are clearly visible and keep in mind the size of scanned doc too

I am the principal applicant and I asked my husband to have this masters evaluated in WES.
We already go the evaluation of his masters but the bachelor's degree was not evaluated.

We contacted WES to have his bachelor's evaluated too but we were asked to pay additional fees.
Can I still use the "Master's degree" evaluation of my husband in Express Entry for additional pints even if we did not have his bachelors evaluated?

yes you can and you should since it is evaluated as Masters by WES

but in the meanwhile get the Bachelors also evaluated, Visa Office could ask for one. Good Luck !!

My application did not move till August 2015, and when it was processed, the IELTS score expired just by a few days. Is this a no-go situation meaning I have to get my IELTS scores again before applying again? I received rejection letter stating my ineligibility to qualify under any of the criteria (and with a list of criteria under which language test score expiry is also listed, and I guess, rest of the factors don't apply).

You should check all other factors that were listed in the letter. IELTS maybe just one of the factor. Typically if your scores were valid at the time of ITA that should be enough. Should the VO feel the need they can request for additional scores. I feel that there maybe something else also that became the reason for rejection.

primary will get more points than dependent. Your spouse MBA would earn you 10 points. Your spouse ielts is low so may be they gave you less points.
