Hi there , could you please update me on how your case went ? I am in the same exact situation. I hope it worked fine with u . Did you apply for 4032 with PEBEC evaluation? and how long did it take PEBEC to send you the report ?
 
I have worked as retail and hospital Pharmacist. Does anyone here got assessed through WES
and got an ITA?

I got my documents evaluated by PBEC, received ECA in 3.5 months (had some problems with some documents and had to resent them, I believe that is why it took long). I had the same dilemma before I came to a decision where to send my documents, and eventually went for PEBC. I am now in Post ITA process, my AOR is 2nd of January.
I have experience as Community Pharmacist as well as Industrial Pharmacist and in order to get maximum points I did not want to risk it by getting my documents evaluated by WES. As far as I know, to be able to work as an industrial pharmacist at specific areas like clinical trials, drug development, you have to sit PEBC exams and get certified. But if you are planning to work as a regulatory affairs specialist, I believe you do not have to sit exams. But in this case I am not sure if you can use NOC 3131.

Hi,
My husband is pharmacist and if he is not principal applicant ..does he needs to go with PEBC?

One more question..what abt distance education Wil WEs do it.
 
Hi,

If he wants to be a community/hospital pharmacist as well as work in specific areas in pharmaceutical industry, PEBC is the only way to do it. I did PEBC to be in the safe side with my application because I am the principal applicant. I really do not know if PEBC is a must to be able to get maximum points from education:) sorry i am not much of a help.

I am an Industrial Pharmacist and my qualification is Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) which is a 4 years full-time course from India. I do not require license to work in Canada as an industrial pharmacist. Upon enquiring with PEBC regarding the same, I received a reply stating that they conduct document evaluation for the applicants who wish to be licensed.
Even though I can get ECA done from WES, I will get points only for Bachelor degree, whereas with PEBC I’ll get points for Professional degree which will greatly boost my CRS.
Is there any Industrial Pharmacist here who got his ECA done by PEBC?

as a specialist physician (NOC 3111) or general practitioner/family physician (NOC 3112), the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) must do an ECA for your primary medical diploma,
as a pharmacist (NOC 3131):
if you need a license to practice (for example, providing patient care in a community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, long term care facility or other practice settings) the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) must do your ECA,
if you are in a position where you do not need a license (organizations such as the pharmaceutical industry and government which require a pharmacy degree because of the education or skill set, but may not require a licence to practice pharmacy), you can have your credentials assessed by one of the other designated ECA organizations. Contact the regulatory authority in the province where you plan to live to find out if you need a licence to practice your intended occupation.
under any other occupation, check the websites of the other CIC-designated organizations or contact them directly to find which one best suits your needs. Consider:

Some designated organizations partner with certain regulatory bodies or large employers. In that case, the ECA you get for applying to CIC might also help you later on.
For each one, you should check to find out what other organizations recognize their assessments.
Find out what documents you need.
Find out how much it will cost. Costs may vary by organization.

hi,i want to apply in provincial nominee program, have a question if someone can clarify that would be of lot help !
what is meant by PRA (provincial regulating authority), ? if i want to evaluate my documents through PEBC i will have to choose one PRA .... now if i select a certain PRA (say ontario college of pharmacy) then would i be eligible to apply ONLY in the same province for provincial nominne program/PNP (i.e ontario PNP) ? or i can opt any PRA and can go for any province for PR? thanks!

Since there is a surplus of pharmacists in almost all provinces you are unlikely to get picked for PNP.

I have same B.Pharm degree and need extra points for PR so if PEBC giving BPharm as Professional degree should I go with that as I applied for WED

Could you please let me know what was your evaluation report? Professional degree or Bachelor?

Is There any person who got ECA for his or her degree from PEBC but work experience from any other field and the person got ITA??
Will it be valid if i give ECA from PEBC as it gives more points because i am having only bqchelors degree in pharmqcy, and work experience from any other category?

Hi I want info regarding ECA from Wes or PEBC I am pharmacist having 5 years of pharmacy digree what is it's equivalency and how much points they gave me and one thing the both Wes and pebc gave same points or they have different equivalency
I have also bsc n bed digrees so they both have point or not
