I need some guidance regarding ECA.
Do IPG's require to sit an exam for ECA? I know licencing require an exam, but I'm confused whether you need to sit an exam just for ECA.. :-\

You don't need to write the PEBC Evaluating Exam however you need to submit an application for credential assessment. Afterwards, submit an application for Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for Canadian Immigration Programs: Express Entry for Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class Applicants (form is right here> www(dot)pebc(dot)ca/index.php/ci_id/23193/la_id/1.htm )

My wife is a pharmacist also.. and she wants to do the ECA without the examinations. Does she need to register first for Pharmacist's Gateway Canada? It is alot of money!

For PEBC, you don't. You'll be needing IELTS General for express entry and IELTS academic for provincial Pharmacists registration (after writing PEBC Evaluating, MCQ and OSCE).

It doesn't award much points if a Pharmacist is secondary applicant

Hi, you mean that its two times we have to process one for application for ECA from PEBC and then ECA for Can-Immigration for EE. ?? I am just confused. Please help as I am a B.pharm[4yr] and PharmD post baccalaureate[3yr] I am unaware of people who have gone through PEBC. Trying to gather some information from students like myself.
