Any OOPNP PTs today i.e. June 8'th?

I know that Preeti has called up Ontario directly to confirm this but I based my answer on Pg 10 & 11 of Application Guide (http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps.pdf) where it clearly mentions that one needs to submit copies of IELTS and ECA.

Now that is open to interpretation but, just to be clear, no one has yet sent WES originals to CIC even during post ITA submissions. Scanned copies have sufficed because CIC has the access to cross-verify the reference number for both ECA and IELTS with the concerned authorities.

Maybe Ontario doesn't have that access hence they're requesting for original records.

For WES, I think they send you 2 true copies and you can always send one of them out to Ontario. Or login to your account and ask them to send it out to Ontario.

As for IETLS, place a request for additional TRF to be sent directly to Ontario.

But even if you do that, how is Ontario going to match your copies received from WES/IELTS with your application and other documents that you have submitted? Sounds very messy.

I'd still recommend that you upload scanned copies along with your other documents (work-ex, identity etc).

thanks for the reply, what you say is right they have requested for copies of IELTS and ECA report, for oopnp we have to send the complete application package by post and not upload any documents like for CIC,

as you said i will include one report of ECA (original) and IELTS i will just send them a photocopy

I asked OO today the same thing today and they said we should send the official IELTS result. In the end it is up to you. I just don't like to see they reject your application because of such a small thing. Best luck

This does not make sense..... since the Application guide clearly states that one has to send copies, this verbal communication is contrary to whats documented.

I also called the OO and was advised to send originals by when I pointed them to the document, I was advised to send an email so that a senior officer can respond to that.

I am going to wait for a written confirmation before I start collecting another set of reports as there is decent effort involved in arranging these documents all over again (especially IELTS score).
 
I have a question...

Since EE asks for scan copy of IELTS, cant we scan and keep it and send original IELTS to OOPNP and when EE asks we can anyway upload the scanned file...will there be a problem???

In fact, EE doesn't even ask for a scan copy in the first place (at least it did not appear in my document checklist). So you can do it this way.

For FSW it will ask...but just wanted to confirm if there can b a prob or will it b fine
 
s it necessary to put the minimum required funds in profile for CEC to get the PT or does anyone got PT by putting zero in funds section in profile ?

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone of you experienced receiving an email saying "Your application has been updated..." but not getting a new message in myCIC?

I got the email around 1 PM EST/2 PM EDT today and it's been 3 hours but still no new message in myCIC....

This is weird and has left me in limbo :/

Any feedback/thoughts is highly appreciated!
