No dear, They didn't send any e-mail to notify that they had sent the MR. They just sent it by mail.
You can't know when they will come until they come to you residential address. You definitely depend on your in-laws to check your mails and inform you, on the contrary you will miss them as they give you a deadline of 60 days to complete and send them all that they need for the continuation of your file processing.

They don't add anything to e-cas to make you understand that they sent them.

My opinion is that you should change address. if you will not be in your country then give a reliable address.

Roomi24,
Then why have you kept your relatives address in your application. Please update London Visa Office immediately of your change in address.
I have also observed that before they send you your medicals the following line is updated in E-CAS. When you click on "In Process" a second line will be added stating "We have reviewed your applcation and started processing on DATE" a couple of days later LVO sends your Medical Forms. This has been the case for as far as i know, ALL london visa office applicants, also New Delhi Visa Office follows the same way.
All the best!
