hi there..

Just out of curiosity ,,,has anyone applied for student visa with family/dependents/spouse at the same time and been successful in obtaining it.

in any case the main applicant being a husband and dependent being wife or the main applicant being wife and dependent being husband.

Well they normally get refused as VO suspects that they're leaving for good.

But I have a relative whose entire family got their visas approved for US. But that was bound to happen because the husband works at the best network operating company in Bangladesh and his wife is an income tax officer. Plus they had numerous properties.

its always better to apply as single coz chances are very less in dependent/spouse visa along with student visa

You can apply for your family's visa once you have received yours. That way the chances of their refusal becomes slim. A lot of parents here have tried that way and managed to get their TRV by referring to their children's visa or permit.

And even if they do get refused, at least you won't have to suffer by skipping a session.
