Any one landing in Toronto in May & Landing Funds

Could anyone please clarify about the landing funds?

I am landing in Toronto in mid May. I have made draft in Australian Dollars for landing funds. Can we take any currency as landing funds or should we take only Canadian Dollars as landing funds.

Is there anyone landing in Toronto in May. We can catch up.
