If the university haven't mailed you yet, then book a courier service to get it in a week's time. Otherwise it might take more than a month to reach you.

My question is that when you have received your LOA, how much amount they mentioned on it for first year or as a bank statement?

In my case nothing was mentioned on the LOA however, there was an additional paper attached for international students and it mentioned that approximately 30k CAD per year will be your expenditure (including fee, rent, food, groceries, books etc)

The 30k amount stated by U of A is just a rough estimate. They haven't mentioned any details as how have they arrived at this figure. Regarding your bank statement the following link will be helpful.

I do not know for computer science, but for faculty of engineering it is nor required, thought, it will increase you chance to get a scholarship
