Hi VictoriaM,

Well i think it works for different one differently. My ecase changed to in process faster than you but if you see i got the 2nd AOR way late than you. You got in 4 days i got it in over 4 weeks. So i dont know how this works.
Also as i have mentioned, i claimed points in language proficiency by writting a letter (Previous IELTS, Work Experience and Degree). And they have requested interview straight away so maybe that is why changed my ecase to in process quicker and want to set an appointment for interview and see my proficiency or other things. On the other hand your case migth be alright and goign through security checks or something else and u might be in a better state than me.
Also saying this nwo they r being very slow. They told me to email them to advise potential interview dates and i did and havnt heard back from them. SO now they r taking some time when i thougth it would be very fast.
I will keep u guys updated. What date i get for interview and how does the interview go...

Cheers

Hi Sannytq,
Your reply makes me feel much better. Thank you very much and all the best to your interview!
Cheers

No worries Victoria... If u r destined to go to Canada then you will no matter what, and if not then no mater what you do u wont be able to. So relax and let the things unfodl on their appropriate time.

Cheers

hey all!

i said i'd post what happened with driving history reports - when you have 0 (and I mean zero) documents from when you were driving in Australia (in our case, 5 yrs ago). In the end, VicRoads replied by email, gave me a number to call, all I needed to do once I'd called was to provide my husband's and my names, dates of birth, last address in Australia, explain what we needed and why, plus the time period during which we'd been living in Melbourne, and that was IT. I paid the fee (8.10) by credit card over the phone and the reports I need will be sent to our home address.

So, in the end, a lot of worry over nothing.

If anyone is ever in a position similar to mine, I hope they find this post and not waste their energy worrying, like I did.

Btw, I'm not surprised to see so many people who'd studied in Austrlia now trying to immigrate to Canada, I can't believe how difficult Australia has made it for international students to get PR. Why they're doing this, I have no idea. Too bad for them, in the end.

Best of luck guys, hope you find yourselves in Canada soon :)

I'm one of them :) Here in Adelaide for 3.5 years waiting for an offshore permanent visa but the government decided to give us the money back after 3 years of lodging the application.

Hey guys, can I use a Money order from Australian Post to pay the RPRF? I ask this because in the CIC webpage says that you have to use a money order in which you can claim the money in any bank in Australia and I understand that Auspost money orders are only to claim in Post offices.

Cheers

Yes they charge less but not for much. Now I know what to do, I did some research on how to do that. Money orders or bank checks must be endorsed.

Dear Friends...I am going to apply and I am from Adelaide. Please colud you advice if I could certify my photocopies by a Justice of peace in Australia...Thank you

In the checklist I got from CIC Sydney the asked me for certified copies. Where did I certify the copies? I went to SA Police, no problems to be accepted from CIC which asked me to do medicals.

Cheers
