hello brother i am also in the same situation...i am nearly there to get co from aus as well(actually i have applied 2 pr application for aus subclass 487 & 885)
now come on poient basicaly i am from india...in my state(gujarat)nobody has much info about aus(everybody thinks that they keep changing rules 1 day they change for pr and another day they will change for your citizenship)
all elder ppl whom i asked they said go canada there is a gud chances to open ur own business or if u want to live in gud weather then stay here in aus and find gud job.
now i am strugling what to do next my wife is nearly finishing here masters of enginering and she forcing me to stay here and my parents telling me to go canada near by america.

Yes brother its a life time decision. Only some one can give a clear picture of bothe countries who lived in both .
My situation is i lived almost 7 year in Uk before comming to Australia and it was a big disappointment for us. because UK is far far better than Australia. specially i luv the UK weather, where as the weather in Australia is very hot that i dont like at all... so for me Canada is good weather.

Secondaly my all family and parentsl lives in Seattle (USA) which is 2hrs drive from Vancover canada. so its again a + point for me to think of Canada.

And you are right about the changing rules of Australia..they can made any change and here in Australia the immigrant are not as welcome as in Canada. so i think canada would be wise decision.
we feel racism in Australia becasue the Australian are not much used to of other cultures as compare to UK or Canada.

Australia is far away from the world so its 10 years behind from europe and America. Canada is with America. travel to US not any problem not very costly.

Canada welcoming the immigrants from so many years. The roots of Indians are really very strong in canada than in Australia where i think 1st generation is growing.

Considering all these aspects our votes are more for canada than Australia.

but at the end everyone have different situations , different likings and different window to view the things so it all depends on your situations.

Hope this gona help to make you decide where to go .. cheers...

Good luck

I am on final stage of Canada as well as my Australia PR... Really want to decide which one i should pick.... ? if any one can give me any suggesion...

thanks

it depends on whether you have established yourself here in australia or not. If you have a good career here in australia, why risk it by going to canada. But if you just started here in australia, you can also start yourself up in canada.

well said brother....
got ans of my all qus...
100 % true what u think...

I am thinking of getting PR card from Canada and getting back to Australia. Can anyone suggest me what are the legal procedures and how long they will take in Canada to take PR card and any other things ? Hi
Have you received a request from Manila regional office for the additional medical test? The reason that I am asking is that my wife also had some abnormality with her hart (Cardiac Silhouette CTR 52%) and I am still waiting for the additional medical request after submitting the medical on first week of July. I send an email last week and got a reply asking me whether we received that request or not. I am worried that they are taking far too long to send these requests.

wow, that is quick. Congrats. Only took 10 days from the day you submitted your passport to collection. If you don't mind me asking, what's your status in australia? If you are on temporary visa, maybe they have to process faster since everyone on temp visa can receive 28 days notice from immigration.

hi owlowl2005 and aaron, looks like you are both close to getting your PR! just wondering what your ecase status is when you click 'in process' - and has any wording changed before or after you received your medical requests? thanks
