I have received MR today by post. I will book it tomorrow. Hopefully will get appointment for this week in Melbourne. Can someone please tell me how much the fees is and if we need any additional forms etc.

No need to worry.. it takes 3 to 5 months before any further decision takes place..

Hey Ashb,
Congratulations on your MR... the medical request will cost you $495.00 per person. Ensure that the Medical forms rec'd in the pack have a barcode thing & your photograph... Wish you all the best for your Medicals... Praying everything will be fine for everyone...

Hi Ash B,

First of all, congrats for getting MR....Stay healthy....Can I ask you, did they ask DMP to send reports to Manila as mine has to go to Manila first? Did they ask for RPRF too or just MR itself? I am from Canberra, I am just waiting for my son's passport so that he can get his medical done from India..... Fee was $469 each and you must have received form 1017 in the post then you will get form 5419 from DMP's place, asking your medical history....and photographs

Thank you. Regarding your questions, Yes it says on the form that it will be sent to Manila. They did not ask for RPRF , only MR. I called in Medibank this morning and booked my medicals for 29th. I will keep you guys updated. Cheers

I got Medical request on 22/5/2012 & I completed on 19/6/2012 but was called 2nd time on 2/7/2012 for a re-sample of urine... all went good... then ECAS was updated on 13/7/2012.... My bank cheque for RPRF fees was presented by CIC on 18/7/2012 (I got info from my bank)...

Once you complete your Medicals properly - give it atleast 1-2mths...

Who asked you to redo the test? Is it the MD or the CHC?

The reason that I am asking this question is that we completed our medical as at same time as you and my wife had a mild Cardiac Silhauette CTR 52% in her X Ray. But MD said there is no need for any additional test and he doesn’t want to complicate things and he will send it as it is.

Two weeks ago I send an email to CHC and got a reply that they received the medical results from Manila for me and my two kids’ but waiting for my wife’s results. No change in ECAS as at now and I am worried that they are going to drag this for ever!
