Hi Guys
Finally things are done for me. I have received my passport with the visa and will have to land early may next year.
.. thanks for all the people in the forum and being so informative.
I filed my application on may 2010 ..and then it started moving on from march 2012 with med request ..to ...PPR in june end and now received the visa....at at a point where I am in the middle of trying to settle myself in Australia.....not sure what to do.. :
Now have to decide Aus or Canada? I am physio by profession.
I see so many people wanting to go to canada from here...would be nice if some body did a comparison about the two countries.
Once again thank you all for being supportive.

I think it will depends on your current situation, if you are now a PR/citizen of Australia and have a stable job in the area you are qualified for + you like australia then you should stay.

Our timeliness and NOC are pretty much same. I am waiting as well like you. I am hoping to hear back from VO by the end of the month. Hang in there

Yay!! got the brown envelope today with the medical request! ;D

I updated the application mid June, them receiving it probably around the 20th.

How long would I have to wait now for the passport request?

Good News Mikenz, Good luck, Did they ask for RPRF too or not? Did you see any address appearance or disappearance game on e-case or not? How many days, they have given you to do medical 30?40? or 60?

Thanks for that.. did not ask for RPRF, address still visible. They gave me 60 days to do the medical..Just found out that the cost is exorbitant!!!!

Thanks for replying back..My PCC and latest photos have been received by VO on 3-7-12 but so far no news....But still positive...

I want to check if anyone has got any idea how much time it takes for CIC to send PPR once ECAS has been updated to Medical results received. Your input is very much apprecaited..... I am from June 2010 batch - from Melbourne... got Medical request on 22nd May 2010 & Medical examination done on 19th June... recently on 13th July ECAS was updated to Medical results received. I am not sure how much time it takes from here.... ANy got any idea... Getting restless as these final stages seems to be more time consuming....
