Hang in there guys, I got my MR on Wednesday via post. I did the tests on Thursday though I'm PNP if that makes any difference.

Wish I hadn't read any of this forum This silly Aussie sent her application to Buffalo instead of Sydney. I applied to CIO Sydney, NS March 2010 and original docs sent to Buffalo Aug 2010 and still waiting for MR!

Got approval on 15 th March 2012.

Applied for Federal Skilled Worker on 2 nd May 2012.

Got Acknowledgement on 18 th May 2012.

You can attest documents from JP(justice of peace)... They don't charge anything and as many as documents, you want to attest.. You can search online, one near to your home...

Hi the clear instructions on cic website is to get attestion from Notary Public . However, they are hel expensive ( unbelievable ) . And few not many in every city . Then ,afterward, I went to JP as Chotti said and VO accepted it . But , I suggest you tO get confirmation frOm VO and other forum members as well .
