Hi everyone
application filed May 13, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 5, 2010
NOC code : Physiotherapist
Second acknowledgement from sydney visa office: 26 jan 2011.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Sydney Australia office. They are pending review.

Is this normal wait time? Senior members does it look like anything will happen this year....? Replies will be much appreciated so that I can take another decision for my future. Also does processing gets delayed further if we change the country.

Hi Kevin007,

Your application is normal coz I applied on March 2010 under fast track but only last week I got the MR. If you change country, you should immediately notify VO-Sydney. It happen to my application before when I did not submit immediately our Visa where we are currently in, only after 6 months that I sent a copy of our visa then it suddenly my ECAS status was changed to In Process.

SO better to inform them immediately whatever changes on your personal circumtances which you think relevent for the VO to know.

Thank you for your reply. I hope that really is normal... . I hope your file gets processed as quickly as possible so that your future plans come into action soon and I do hope that my status turns into process soon. As this pending review has been for so long that I don't even feel like logging into the ecas status .. So what do you think will anything happen by this year end for me. I haven't been following the forum as I had lost my id and password ...feels good to retrieve it back. what does your gut feeling say??

Nothing is straightforward as per VO, I have a friend who applied under same category with the same job but got their application done in 1 year time.

I guess, it depends on the VO who is handling the application and if your work experience is in priority. But your application will be reviewed and to be processs before this year ends mate.

Just keep on enquiring on your ECAS, nothing to lose. I even enquired twice a day sometimes...hehehehe..it's crazy but it paid off once you got the update reviewed and processed status after months of In Process.

I know how it feels to wait. I used to check ecas atleast 100 times a day. Haha to be honest i still check it atleast twice daily, dont know what i want to pop out from there. I wish both of you see the finish line soon ;D ;D ;D.

Bhaji same here, my browser statistics shows that I have opened ecas page for 7288 times + I think same on my IPhone as well or even more. Actually that ecas shows us our hard work and patience. That is why u r checking even after ur success. Best of luck

Suk you did a great job with some blinking on your post, great to see with this kind of twist, it makes one to smile considering we are discussing serious matters here.

Great for us to have some other means to have info on how our application progress on. I guess this forum gives more life compared to our ECAS. What do you reckon?

Anyway, it's Monday again and just keep on going. Will be having our medicals done by March 30.
