Thanks for all of you for your responses. I have received a reply from CIC London Office, in which I have been told that my file is awaiting for review by an immigration officer. It measns that my file is idle lying in the CIC office record and process has not yet been started. This means processing is very slow as after more than eight months no work is done on that.

Mr. Hassan I would like to ask about your case that after expiring your medical the CIC office has contacted you for future move and action.

i received passport request one almost 2 weeks ago and i sent my documents means passports copies and updated charts, my documents reached chc london at 19th auguest 2011. Yesterday my online status has been changed from in process to decision made. wt u ppl think that in how much days i can receive passport request 2 ? pls help

Today I got AOR from CIC London. I applied to them on 26h April as Provincial Nominee.

they asked me to submit

* Medical
* ROPR Fee
* Proof of relationship
* Explanation of How I am planning to economically establish in Canada.
* Proof of Fund
* Source of how the funds are obtained with documented proof.





they also returned the original nikah nama and birth certificates.


Not sure how one can show the source of fund. I being a salaries employee can show the funds through statement. But how can I link my salary to the saving certificates/Fixed Deposit etc.

I had shown my financial resources through letters of the banks i had invested in. So i gave the NIT letter and the bank letters. If you have recieved your medical it'll take about 6 months for your PR visa to come. Thats how long it took mine.
