Hi Ibad,

Yes Imran said this is only information available in their website but in my view, this timeframe significantly varies from one visa office to another so may be London office is one of worst in processing applications.

Probably you may ask your friends which visa office processed their applications?

As an example, you may take mine I got AOR in April 2013 and since then no response so far. I was informed after my asking, that my application is awaiting assigning of case officer which has not yet been assigned so not yet even reviewed.

Best Regards

Mian

Hi Mian,

which AOR you are referring here the day when your application was moved to london visa office (LVO)?
n secondly when you did querry about your application status after strike was over (27 sept 2013) or before that ?

we were suppose to get medical like 4 months back but due to Pafso strike all timeline is messed up.

Hi senior members plz guide me
I m filling my forms these days.. in IMM0008 there is a quest
"do u have a national identification number"
den it asks for date of expiry n issue of that number
In case of adults we'll write CNIC number
IN case of minors if we check it as NO NI number
coz birth certificate has no date of expiry so
it wont help if I write birth crt number
can i opt for NO in case of children or its wrong?

2ndly my birth cert n my son's birthA cert is from union council
its not computerised but v hv certified true translation of it
do v need 2 go for a computerized birth certificate?
Can the older BC cause delay in processing?

Hi Anabia,

Good day!
For the first question , you should write the same number of Form B, because those are the same bubbler which will be alloyed as an ID card number , for expiry you can write any date ie; 2099 , it will work or 2030.
For BC if you can get it computer toed one those will be more authentic then manual ones.
You are still preparing application, it's better to submit your file as soon as possible with manual ones and then keep following the computerized one , those could be submitted with additional documents request ( if those are needed) else computerized ones will help you after reaching canada.

Hi BK,

This is the average time frame written on website for LVO, it's being revised every 6 months based on a agrigate of total cases disposed off and total time span.
There would be multiple reasons and causes could be for reduction and increment.
For now it's strike and load of pending files , most of them for FSW and then backlogs of PNPs.
I hope the time will be reduced as for now most of the cases are being considered for next step.

Dear Thanks, I would be glad if i could be any of assistance.

For background declaration (IMM5669E) there is no need to write any of siblings address, except you and your spouse's parents address.
But you need to write in additional family information (IMM5406E) address of your brothers and sister, you can write the address which are present on their ID cards or you can write only City and Country, that would be enough. But you need to write the complete address of your brother or sister who is your sponsor in Canada.
Else all any info would be enough for now to proceed with.

Hope this will help.

Hi BK,

AOR is date when Sydney, NS office has approved my application with respect to completion of documents and requiremets and informed me that we are now forwarding your application to visa office so any further query should be asked from them.

My query was before Strike.

Has any person got medical request in four month time from London office?

Regards

Hi Anabia,

you are supposed to provide infomration about only immediate siblings, and it should be as 100% accurate as they are not going to verify it. But it is good to disclose as complete infomration as you can (even without asking them). If you have other relatives living abroad and you do not want to speak to them then it is better not to give them any clue. But if you are on sponsor case, then it is mandatory as they will verify that details and speak to that person even.

Hope this information gives you some insight.

That I do not expect but only in case of doubt. You may check with your cousin about outcome of interview and how it was.
