Dear senior members,

I and my spouse got our medicals done in the first week of December 2012. my spouse was told that her X-ray has not come out right so she needs to give few more tests for TB whose results take about 45 days. the test were done and the results came clear as per the IOM. they asked her to give another X-ray after 3 month which would be 1st week of march 2013 in our case. and after that X-ray her reports would be sent to the VO. and no further medicals.

What im worried about is that although the TB has come out negative, if still the X ray comes out bad what is going to happen? will the medicals be treated as OK? or NOT? as the medical staff at IOM told me that they are only concerned about TB.

Secondly I need to know that if her medicals are God forbid rejected, what is the status to my case? would they not give me visa as well?

We are really worried and anybody who has any experience in this regards kindly share.

Best regards,
if the other tests are clear and only the x-ray was not clear then that shouldnt be a problem...and dont worry this time x-ray will be ok just ask your wife to hold her breath while they take x-ray...

Good Luck

If all TB tests are clear then I'm sure that this time her X ray would be clear too.

I have seen couple of applicants who got treatment of TB & at the time of medical they showed their previous negative reports. VO do ask them for further tests & for X ray twice or thrice but at the end they were able to get PR visa.

So don't worry, if number of applicants are able to get PR visa even with past history of TB then in your wife case she never ever had it. Repeated X ray will further clarify that she's all fine.

Wish you all the best.

Regards

Canada is the land of opportunities so dont worry guys you all will be setteled here In sha Allah.. it takes some time to find appropriate job but just do whatever job you get in the beginning to gain Canadian work experience...
it seems hard to settle in the beginning (it would be hard if you even move to another city from your birth city so now you are changing country)but you will be well settled so be optimistic...
you can continue your education..theres a lot of free classes, courses etc you can take...
just stay close to Allah...follow your religious and cultural values and you will be succesful in every corner of the world... :)

I am writing the completer report on my experience

1. When the x ray are not clear at first time IOM ask you to do anther X ray after few days
2. If 2nd time the x ray are still shady of dark IOM will ask you to do sputum and some blood test to make sure their is no symptom of TB
3. After 3 month (in your case ) IOM will do the x ray again if its not clear IOM may put her on 2 months TB treatment and after that even the x ray are the same as the first day they will forwarded the report to VO and VO will accept that report and your visa will be issued
4. Canadian Immigration and V/O are generally very positive on such issue and they will not refuse visa on any medical ground, it may delay your application and you have to go step by step for the entire medical tests once IOM and v/o sure that your wife has no TB , the x ray can be dark for other reason, you will get the visa

Good Luck

Hello All,

I just received Medical Request from London Visa Office :). They asked for the following:

-Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee
-Medical results (you will receive separate emails with instructions)
-Original UK (ACPO) police certificate for yourself
-Documents #1 and #2 listed in the attached 'PV2' letter (Bank Statement and Settlement Plan)

Got to provide everything in 60 days so just a little tense.

Thanks,
Fahad

Congrats!! Hope we all get PPR soon

Any idea how much time after RPRF? Also if line added to E cas "Medical Results have been received", does it mean that medicals are clear or just received.

Thanks

DECISION MADE !!!

Today, My ecas status showed that decision has been made on your application and Office will contact you concerning this decision.

Good News, You can proceed for medical could be done in week or 10 days time, in the mean time you can prepare the Both settlement plan and Bank Statement. PCC will take time ( Don't know about UK Processing time).
Hope for the best for you.

I am in a bit of a situation in terms of Medical Exams. I read on this forum that we need passports for scheduling the exams which is a problem for me. Actually I applied for passport for my 2 children (1.5 and 3 yr old) in 1st week of December and they still haven't arrived >:( (I had no clue that MR would come so early else I would've applied for urgent). I also applied for renewal of my passport which is pending too (Although I got my old one with cancel stamped on it).

Can anyone confirm if its possible to schedule Medical Exam with IOM in Pakistan without passport (the forms just mention suitable ID). Would appreciate response if anyone has similar experience or suggestions.

Thanks,
Fahad

I think you have enough time to wait for your pssport, buta ctually you canmake reservation with IOM with old passport. Just Follow with Passport office guys , they might help you with some extra money to get you kids passport with in week or so.
You can make a call to IOM , or you just review comment from Ume-Rayan, they did medical few days back, and they post the way they choos for medical oppointments.
All the best mate :).
