Ecas status will be changed once your medical will be reviewed by VO, it's not sure but this could be the case.
You should send CSE to CHC.

Hi all

Finally I was able to get an appointment at IOM, Lahore.

I tried their UAN & email both on friday too but their phone remained busy nor they reply to my email ???.

Today I started calling them at 8 a.m & still their phone remained busy. Finally after continuous efforts their answering machine picked it up & put me on hold for another 30 minutes. Finally after a long long wait of 1 hour, I was able to talk to their operator.

This whole effort makes my belief more stronger that getting a PR visa is all about patience

Hi all

I just wanted to share to how to get an appointment for medical examination here in Pakistan.

Well in Pakistan only IOM is in panel physician list of CIC. To get an appointment, you have to call at their UAN i.e 051-111-466-472 or you can get an appointment by sending all of your details at their email too i.e MHDISLAMABAD @ iom.int.

Try to call them at 8 a.m. Put your passports in front of you before calling them. Details which they require for appointment are:

Passport numbers of all family members
Full names
Date of births
Visa Category i.e PNP, Spouse or FSW
Your contact number
City where you want to go for Medical examination.

How did they used the schedule ME? and expected time for availability?
If you want to make it sooner then available schedule due to urgency? any way will contact them once i will have some stuff in Hand!

They usually give you the nearest date for Medical & most of people are able to get it within next 8-10 days of calling. I heard that they can make it earlier too if there is some urgency. I know couple of FSW applicants who did medicals with in a week due to their sound reasons.

-Updated original police certificate(s) from each country that you have lived in for 6 months or more since February 2012




Please forward all requested documents together to the address below within 60 days from the date of this email. If we do not hear from you within that period, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. All documents submitted in support of your application are subject to verification with the issuing authority. Your file number is included in the subject field of this email.



Should your personal circumstances (address, marriage, divorce, birth, death, adoption) change between now and the time you leave for Canada you must report the changes to us. Oh yes it is frustrating. I wonder why he/she is asking for PCC. ??? Did you submit it with your initial application? like I submitted my PCC with my initial application to CIO, Nova Scotia.

It can be a positive sign too that your reviewing process is about to finish & your all background & security checks are already done, thats why he/she is asking for last document left.

Hope for the best. InshAllah you'll get it soon as most of the applicants are getting PPR1 within 4 month after MR.

I got MR almost after 4 months of submission of add documents. It was written in VO's first doc request that review of documents can take upto 4 months & they took exact 4 months to send me 2nd step i.e MR.

Now in Medical email, same line is written once again that review of medical results can take upto 4 months so I guess that PPR1 will take another 4 months too.

Now my question is that "This 4 months line was written in your MR letter too?"

I didn't send any documents yet....actually I'm waiting for medical receipts...I'll send those along with RPRF draft just to inform VO that I'm done with my medical examination.

In September 2012, my additional requested documents were received by "Muhammad".

i think PCC normally valid for one year, i submitted with initial application to CIO in feb 2012 n thats y they r asking PCC from feb 2012

yes 4 months written in my letter too "please allow four months for us to review incoming correpondence"
i sent RPRF draft with covering letter n also attached medical recept as well
