ru still waiting?i am 8th sep applicant and no update only last email i got security background verification so i withdraw passport last weekand waiting for application update.
yes still waiting and change plan now instead of visit CA on 15th December planning for EU and if they send me email to submit PP then i will see you know nothing we can do instead of waiting so better avail your holidays instead of kept on waiting

Only patience is a key or follow @Bryanna advice send them more documents which you think can support your application so this is another way that they can reply you as i send them updated info and didn't ask them about the update LOL but they send it self that background check is in process so you have to wait and new information noted hehe just 2 cent advice either just pray and wait
If you have applied for and were granted any new visas to the UK or Schengen countries, you can inform the Abu Dhabi visa office (colour scan the visas + your flight tickets). This will add to your travel history

we sent everything we have including paid ticket. i dont know what more to send, medicals also done.
he had previous visas while he visited however i applied for EU already and waiting now
