On the same page ,you should have a "Continue" button , hit it and you will asked some more questions.
Finally you will get a page where you are given a personal reference code. It should look like :

"Your document checklist

Studying in Canada – Your personal checklist
Based on your answers, you may be eligible to come to Canada as a student.

To apply online, you will need this personal reference code: GYxxxxxxxxxxx"

Then a list of 8 to 9 steps where the required documents are mentioned.

check again at:

If you are planning to apply , here what you need to do:
Step1 : You need to finish the wizard at:http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/getting-started.asp
because at the end it will give you an exact list of forms you need to submit, these forms together with other requirements will appear in a list on your online account.
Usually :
1. IMM1294E : application for a study permit made outside Canada.
2. IMM5646E : family information
3. IMM5646:custodianship form if you are a minor.
4. Birth certificate : translated if not in English or French
5. Letter of acceptance: from designated learning institution
6. Passport
7. IMM5257B_1: application for temporary resident visa
8. Photo
Step2 :
Financial Funds :
If you are a minor :
1. Salary certificate of parent(s).
2. Bank statement of the last 4 months showing the amount : first year tuition + $10000
3. Affidavit : letter of financial support from parent(s)
4.Any house deeds or business owned
5. If someone paying other than parents , affidavit of financial support.
If you are an adult:
1. Bank statement of the last 4 months showing the amount : first year tuition + $10000
2. Any ownership: assets , bonds , cars, etc...
Step 3:
SOP : statement of purpose or LOR : letter of explanation
if there is any thing you have to support your application , information like why you chose Canada for studying or to explain the source of funds that were deposited into the account or specifying some ties to your home country to show that you will leave Canada after finishing studying.
Good Luck.

The answers depend on whether you are an adult or you are just finished Grade 12 ?

Hi

I am a 28 years old adult with wife and kids.

I paused my studies after 12th grade but resumed studies in 2016. I am about to complete my 12+2(Business Administration) and Im intending to apply for a 1 year program or 2 years course in Canada.

Initially I do not intend to take my family along

During the period of my study gap, I worked on a Customer Service and currently on an IT Administrator profile

I have been here in Dubai for the past 6 years.

Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
MB

Ties to home country and country of residence : having property , leaving family behind in either or both countries.
You need to demonstrate how your family will be supported in your absence (wife working?) , you need also to convince the officer about strong reasons why you will leave a job to study : impact of the study on your career plans, if the intended field study is strongly related to your current qualifications or job requirement , it would be better.
Search the forum for:"SOP" you will find a lot of good suggestions.

Hi. Your posts helps a lot. I am also planning to apply. I just want to ask if do you think it will be okay if i present two accounts as proof of funds. Like, from my home country and in UAE. Thanks!

Hello, my dads bank statements are not as strong but he has property back home which is worth 300,000 CAD, I was wondering if we show that will it be sufficient for the proof of funds?
