ANY ONE APPLYING FOR STUDENT VISA CHC-ISLAMABAD THIS MONTH

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

Dear fellas,

I got acceptance from Concordia University for MEng in Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) program for Sept 2013 intake, I just received my confirmation few days ago and I am waiting for the original letter of acceptance to be delivered to me(have ordered for the express courier mail option).

I will apply to CHC-Islamabad as soon as my application is complete.

I contacted few consultants for the study permit option but all have literally confused me with the process.

Now, is there anyone here who know what documents are required to submit the application of study visa (Check list)
people at Gerry's international told me that you do not need to submit the offer letter in original and no SOP is required while the people at TCS
have require this.

The university has told me to obtain a CAQ before applying for the visa, what do I need to do for that.

PS: I am going to complete the application myself and will not be hiring any consultant. I have multiple queries and I would really appreciate if you guys can help me out with the correct information.

Congratulation, for acceptance.

I also got acceptance from University of Alberta in MS in ECE .

Would you like to share your knowledge with me so that it will be benefit for both of us because we both have same goal .

So how you stated. Do you completed all required forms ?

Hello brother.

Firs of all .. apply for CAQ go to quebec immigration official site and apply for CAQ online. it will cost some dollars but its an online process. You will handed an Online acceptance from Quebec and it will take 20 odd days. Please do this as soon as possible.


After you get CAQ then you can applly for VISA from CHC Islamabad. (if u r in pakistan)

I am applying for Alberta, Canada .

I downloaded the Forms and documents from CIC official website. Is these are same for all countries ?

of CHC Islamabad required other forms ?
 
i have filed my visa today...i did it through tcs, i went to FEDX but they said that they do not take passports and that i must consult TCS. i dont know how others apply through tcs...if any one know the procedure after applying so kindly tell me.

Please update ur profile as things move along. If Fedex didn't take it then i am sure they have a new contract with TCS and it deals with Canadian Embassy. Which city did you apply form.

Yes I am looking into it, do you have to enclose the original acceptance letter from the University in the documents for CAQ? I am still waiting for my original letter, I will receive it by Tuesday.

Do we have to send a financial statement too for the CAQ to be issued?

20 days excluding the courier transit times?

I live in Karachi, I went the Gerry's office and got a checklist of documents that required to be submit for the visa.

My admission is from a university in Qubec so I require a CAQ first then I can apply for the visa

these are the documents that I know are to be submitted, but I want you to confirm them too or if anyone here reading this can confirm the checklist

1. IMM 1294
2. IMM 5257 (Schedule-1 form)
3. IMM 5476 (only if you are using a representative)
4. Letter of acceptance
5. Financial statements
6. Copy of fee voucher
7. Copy of NIC
8. Two passport photos
9. Police verification certificate
10. Original passport
11. Copy of passport's Biodata page
12. CAQ (Applicable only if you are applying in Qubec)
13. IMM 5645 (Family Information)
14. All education documents in original and photocopies

So far I know these documents are required,

I can mail you a copy of the fedex checklist if you want!

I thought of applying to Alberta for MASc Program and I even have all the documents ready like I can apply tomorrow only but then I got admitted in Concordia University so I thought about letting it go.

I applied through the consultant, so i have no clue as to what the next steps are. I will however call them and ask them in detail.
From what i know they next step will be a call for Medical if ur file is complete.
