getting married in Manila
Good day gentlemen.
I am a Filipina living and working here in Italy for the past 10 years. My canadian boyfriend and I have been engaged for a year now, and we are both planning to go to the Phils. to get married there, and maybe stay there for quite some time, and work as well. We plan to file the spouse visa at the Canadian Embassy in Manila and wait for the release there, so we can go together to Canada.
Is this possible? If so, can you give us an idea as to the time we have to wait for the release of spouse visa? What would be the requirements, if ever, in getting married there? Can he stay in Manila for a long period of time say more than 6 months?
