Any one applied to L.A office for their SP in 2014??LETS CONNECT!

I just received an email and message in MyCIC asking for my passport!!! Best of luck to everyone still waiting.
 
Ajay oh yes am here. sx-1 visa in canada. i applied july 19th by mail. havent heard anything
 
I applied online on August 3rd .... Provided my biometric screening .... Still waiting

When did you apply?
 
I applied for a work permit for myself and a temporary work permit for my common law partner online on July 9th. But I have not heard anything from CIC yet. Is this normal? is there any way I can contact them?

@ ajay, no I wasn't told. Am still waiting. Nour congrats..urs was really fast. U applied on the 3 rd and u have ur request this soon! I applied July 19 and had a request more than a month later

yes thank you and I just got the update I my cic that the medical has been received and passed. So, hopefully the pp request is coming soon. The course starts sep 02.
 
That's nice Ajay... My course starts sept 2 too. I did a paper application so I won't know if I passed the medicals or not coz I can't check online. When did u do the medicals and which clinic?
 
It's been six weeks since I applied. I don't know why 30 days is written on la website. My orientation in school is tomorrow and am confused what to do.
