ANY NEWS ABOUT CANCELLING THE 3 DAYS HOTEL QUARANTINE ???

I booked my flight for the first of july and my husband think that the government will cancel the hotel quarentine before that and he does not want to book for him it will be wast of money ....do anyone know about the news of cancelling?

No one knows for sure, some experts have recommended to the government that they make changes in the system, but with early elections expected in Fall, I doubt the government will change this rule this early, since it is generally very popular with most Canadians.

I reckon the earliest they will remove this policy will be either Fall (after those elections),or at the very least once at least 75% of Canadians have received their 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, which probably won't happen until mid-August.

It's early to book your hotel stay right now, you can wait until past June 21st which is when the government should announce the extension of those measures.

Thanks for your reply dear, because I read in different forum that we must book 3 to 2 weeks before because of fear of not getting a place at any of the hotel

There are lots of hotels available, I would wait for mid June. IMO I think they will change the rules before too long.

From what I saw in the news there will not be an election during Covid but as to when Covid will be declared in Canada is anybody's guess.

hi, off the topic, where journey is originating from?
on topic, i dont think quarantine rule is going away just yet, i think its safe to book a hotel since the later it is, the expensive it can be with a risk of not having much options to choose from.

that is certainly true, but i dont think they have left one with much of a choice i hope it goes away but by looks of it, i dont think its going anytime soon.
