Any Nepali students applying for universities or colleges at Canada? For May/September intake, let's unite and support each other for collecting documents and stuffs.

I just got approved for masters at a university and currently collecting documents, and having a very hard time doing that.

Hey, congrats for your visa which university/college are you enrolling into?

Can you guide me through a brief checklist you sent to the visa officer while applying for your visa? It's not that I don't know, but in our Nepali context I am really confused on how to show income statement from a certain company, and showing proof of rent as an income.

I am going for the masters of applied computing at university of windsor for the september intake, currently collecting documents.

I have been enrolled to University of Saskatchewan for Masters in Electrical Engineering. I have been provided scholarship in the form of Research assistantship. So, I just provided a bank statement of total 14 Lakhs (using my father's bank account) and property evaluation worth 60 Lakhs (NRs) to visa office (no income tax returns, bank loans). Aside from the documents in the checklist provided by the CIC, I sent GRE, TOEFL score, certificate issued by Nepal Engineering Council, character certificates, CV to High Commission.

ThankYou. I just presented general documents, according to the checklist - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5818E.pdf

For proof of funds I presented property valuation (from woda VDC - Lalitpur) and rental agreement of our property at Lalitpur and Hetauda. A salary sheet of my Father and profit from business operations. I also made sure to present the tax clearance certificate for every property we own (seems that this is very important)
I made all the documents myself, and never followed any consultancies. And I gave the medical after CIC requested for it.

I am not sure about whatsapp group that exist for Nepalese students. Feel free to inbox me if you have other questions.

I am from Nepal Pokhara. I have completed my 10+2 in 2011 with 57.60%.I got conditional acceptance letter from university of canada west. From 2011 to 2015 dec I have a working experience as an accountant. My question is with the 57.60% and the gap will embassy give me visa? what is the cjance of getting visa?

Firstly, clear the condition of the university, you must have an unconditional offer from your university before applying for visa. And you have to explain the reason for your gap and your slightly lower percentage. Best of luck.

Any university which provides thesis based masters degree will provide you scholarship. If you can get into research, scholarships are easier, course based masters degree have a few scholarship programs and are harder to get.
