Ask your sponsor to contact his MP frequently so that S/He can ask from Nairobi. Because Nairobi does not communicate directly with clients or sponsor but they do with MPs from my own experience. since you are waiting for an interview good luck, however be very prepared because it does not look good in your documentation that your sponsor filed. There must be some discrepancies in dates, information, documents, that your IO wants to finds out in person. Don't be afraid there are two types of interviews one which is eligibility interview and another one is security interview. Security interview is always at the last stage of processing if they detect that you have tie with people of interest that Canada is looking for or something is not clear after the RCMP finished doing your background checks. But in your case I see it is the eligibility interview to determine if your relationship is genuine or not. Once you pass this one you are good my friend because not too many people go for security interview compared to eligibility one. There are also other who took time to screen their files before they send them to CHC and they were not invited for eligibility interview.
