I rised a webform yesterday (Sep 2nd), today I received the BVL (biometric validation letter) for me and my spouse. Let me see the final decision.

Do you have still Canada visa to go there??
You got PGWP before so it is still valid ??

I had PGWP and visa but it is expired in pandemic could not travel to Canada.

I applied study permit again. Waiting for medical request and I have done biometrics and review eligibility started already on 7th August.

I applied for the new study permit in my country. I do still have valid PGWP but I can't go back to Canada with it unless I have a recent job offer. And I would recommend you to do upfront medical but it is your choice to wait or not.

Do you mind if I ask what are your University requirements in terms of IELTS score, because sometimes some courses have a specific requirement for example you need to have an Overall 6.5 but a minimum of 7 in writing. Is that the case with your specific course and University by any chance?

I heard some were like if we launch file under non sds then we can't relaunch under sds with same LOA!

As far as I know it's definitely possible. Others might have knowledge on the same subject as well but from what I know, it's definitely possible to file with same LOA.

Got my refusal letter.

Reasons :
1. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
2. Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, previous
studies, mark sheets, academic record, level of establishment, language abilities, and/or your
future prospects and plans.
