Today is the start of 8weeks. If this week goes by without any updates then I’m going send a webform
The problem is that, they don't reply. Mine they replied when I got passport request. I was like really?

Yeah. I got my passport request on 24th. Yeah, don't bother sending webform, they will reply when you get your decision.

How long did they take to give you a decision? Where did you apply from again?

I applied from USA, so normal processing time is 3 weeks in US. But it took a month.
Sept 27th: Submitted my application
Oct 8th: I got an update not sure what it was updated
Oct 18th: My application changed from we are processing to we are reviewing
Oct 24th: Got correspondence letter few minutes later passport request.
I submitted my passport next day to VAC Los Angeles in person

I am leaving on 25th December. A week after my semester ends so that I get my official transcript and close my US F1 Visa record
