Any idea what happens when timeline is passed for biometric ?

Does anyone know what happens when date of biometric is passed?
TRV applied for my sister from India but she passed her expiry date.I know it will be automatically renewed. But for how long ?
We applied in December 2020 but no update other than biometric instruction letter.

You mean if you don't take your biometric within 30 days?

Yes.I mean I know all the VACs are closed outside Canada. CIC immigration website mentions it will extend the deadline after 30 days.
But I wonder when do they actually decide to reopen the VACs :/

I don't 30 days is the timeline and even if it is 30 days at present they shouldn't consider because I applied for TRV in the month of Jan and gave my biometrics in this month I.e.,March.
