Any high or low season to search job in Toronto (or GTA)

Summers are very slow, but things do pick up in the fall, and Q1 is always the busiest time.

Hello All,

I would like to direct this question to people who have been in Canada for few years.
What is the scenario for engineering companies (manufacturing/mechanical or related) in the month of December as far as the hiring is concerned. I do see there are openings now and then on Indeed and other job sites but what is the typical time they start hiring actively.

P.S.: Question specific to engineering companies only.
