I applied study permit visa in October 17th 2016 , till now I still haven't heard anything from cic.

I applied on paper , I personally sent cic email because I have exceeded the normal processing time. The response after my mail says my application is in que for review and once decision is made I'll be informed. That was February. I applied for January entry .

Wow !! Thats really something else.
Have you contacted your school to defer to september intake , in that light a new admission letter will be requested from you by IRCC i believe. All the best though.. But longer processing times get it thats what i have gathered here.

i have applied on 2 sep, still waiting for response. i was given 14 weeks processing time.
