Had a quick question. I am a diplomate of ABIM (completed ny residency in USA and currently practicing) and want to pursue cardiology fellowship in Canada. Is that something that can be done and if yes how difficult is it to get into cardiology there? Any replies would be appreciated.
This can be done and it will be easy for you , as Canadian programs are ACGME accredited, you can be BE after Canadian programs . But it isnt easy getting into Canadian programs as all are university based programs and competitive.

I am Specialist Family Physician from Pakistan, with more than 11 years of post graduate experience, my ECA is M.D., IELTS score 7 or more in all categories, I filed my EE profile in January, but due to age I only have 304 points. I already appeared in MCCEE and waiting for results. yes I also have a job offer from Alberta once I get registered to regulatory authorities of Alberta.

Since you people are already in Canada, can any one help me to know that if it is mandatory to have IELTS in academic for registration with college of Physicians and Surgeons , any where in Canada. B/C I already done IELTS for EE in General category?
Thanks in advance

Thank you so much wifedoctor for appreciating.
I am having only 304 points mainly B/C of getting 15 points for age., otherwise CLB 9+,full points for experience and education
That's why getting license and job offer is so essential for me to get 600 points and then selected by EE.
I have a question for you please,
Does NOC 3112 is a LMIA exempted job? does it mean that even if I have a valid job offer I will not able collect 600 points for it and for getting it I should come through PNP process?
Thank you so much in anticipation.

Guys! Job match service is activated :D I got one result on my Dash board already.for NOC 0311
good luck to all ;D
