I have got myself registered with MCC now i am confused about few process....like if i need to send only one document for eca OR ALL AS transcript, training certificate, degree and registration certificate and have to pay for each......


or Only medical degree will suffice

You are replying to a very old post. I’m not sure where you are from but the majority of foreign trained doctors are not able to practice medicine in Canada especially if you are a specialist. It is difficult passing your licensing exams but getting a spot to redo your residency is the big issue when there are very few spots available after Canadian students have been matched. Even Canadian specialists can’t find jobs after they graduate. If you have no desire to continue practicing then it isn’t a big deal but most foreign-trained physicians arrive in Canada and regret moving after they realize the odds of becoming a doctor in Canada. Your chances are much better in places like UK (or other European countries), US and maybe Australia and NZ (don’t know enough about their program). I’d be happy to provide more evidence.

True. I am an Optometrist in India. For an Optometrist, who is an allied health professional and not a medical professional, takes anywhere between 2 to 3 years to get a license, it is much harder for a foreign trained specialist to get one in Canada.

I am from albania, and here i hvae been working for three years as a general physician, i have many cousins in canada,so i have applied for express entry. now i have been stuck in the procedure of certification of identity form, the one i got from MCC, because they want an english stamp but here its nearly impossible to find a public notary with an english stamp or seal. I have asked some notary even in the canada embassy in tirana they dont offer this service, the stamps are only in albanian. I dont know where to go or what to do! I am just trying for a better life opportunity.

Can’t help you with the English stamp. Why don’t you try to move to Germany or the UK where you have a very good chance at being able to work as a physician?

it all began with my cousins in canada and they offered me support and i took it so easily! maybe i can work as a assistant or do other jobs and get a higher education. In germany i dont german, so i have to start learning the language as a start . For your self do you work in canada as a physcian?
