Hi Esteemed members

Can you please share some references or contacts of agencies/persons who can assist in job offers / interviews for Canadian companies for someone who is currently in India? The PR application is already in system but need job offers to fulfill criteria of PR.

Please respond :)

It's next to impossible to secure a job offer and there are no jobs on the forum. If you want to secure a job offer, you'll need to apply for jobs directly through web sites such as indeed, linkedin and workopolis.

Agencies are mostly scams. You will need to find a job yourself.

Thank you Syclla. The main problem is looking at Foreign worker resume and India number deters the interest of recruitment companies. Do you think taking a Canadian phone number would be helpful? I have been applying jobs but haven't seen any response so far. Any further inputs shall be helpful.

No - taking a Canadian phone number won't help.

The vast majority of employers aren't willing to go through the LMIA process.

I would recommend you focus on other ways of increasing your Express Entry score (take IELTS again, more work experience, additional education). It's unfortunately very unlikely you'll be successful finding a job in Canada.
