Hi guys,

I'm already in the pool under CEC and FSW with NOC 2175. Got my experience with PGWP and there's no way I can be picked under FSW. I believe that there are so many people in the same situation here.

So do you guys thing if I have enough score for the CEC if the government draw "CEC"? I have some concerns and therefore, I'm thinking of finding a job offer to get +50 point from LMIA. DO you think I need it?

I just wanted to hear what you guys think and feel if you're in the same thoughts...

Hey Ali,

I was invited twice with almost the same score last year (April and August 2021) under CEC. However, the situation in the pool is very competitive right now, and I expect the first few draws to be well above 470 or 480. Therefore, it would increase your chances if you have a job offer in my opinion. This doesn't mean you can't be invited with this score. It's just that you might have to wait a little longer.

With IRCC, you never know, and they can go wild sometimes (similar to Feb 2021). If such a thing happens again for any reason (maybe worsening covid situation again), you stand a good chance under CEC even without an offer. GoodLuck!

Thank you very much. You're certainly right and unfortunately we just got the news about the first draw. we'll be in the same pool with the FSW candidates. things don't look that easy. Hope they do a big specific draw for the CEC candidates
