Hello everyone,

I got my PR status in late June this year.
Today CIC called our manager to verify info of another applicant from the company.
One of the questions from CIC is: how many employees in your company and what are their titles.
I applied for CEC under the title of bookkeeper, however, today my manager used the word "accoutant".
I have already finished my PR application, but I wonder if what happened today makes my PR status revoked.

Any idea guys.
Thank you

No they dont

I hope that they don't.
My manager seldom uses "bookkeeper", he always says "accountant", I think that is the reason why he made a mistake today.
I hope this mistake won't kill me...

I really do not think so. Cic called regarding the other employee not about you. If you got you pr already you can even changed your job now. I do not think they keep track of the company you work for. As they process the person not the company. Where I used to work they have 3 persons under the same job title as me and the company is fairly small. Everybody got medical requests and RPF. So do not worry about. Be glad you are a PR already. I am still waiting for my ppr :(.

Man you are getting worried un-necessarily , Chill and enjoy the PR status.

Losing PR status shouldn't kill anyone.

OK, Thank you guys.

I applied in Nov 2013, and already got my PR, now there is a coworker of mine who is just applying now and she has THE SAME POSITION that I got my PR under CEC.

She also has another full time job that she is hoping will get her her PR, so she is not claiming my postion under Noc B when she should, I told her that she should but she just said I am not gonna list it as NOC at all. She still has to provide a letter from our company.

She just says she cares about the other job that she is claiming and she is not going to great length to get a NOC B letter from my employer since it is more trouble and she doesnt care.

So now I am worried if somehow my company is already in CEC registry and if they decided to check her letter against mine (i don't know if that is possible) I might get in trouble when my letter stated all the true duties and true NOC code.

Why do we always have to suffer because of other idiots?

Am I too paranoid? What is the chance of her f**king it up for me?

Why do we always have to suffer because of other idiots? different kind of people are in this world and all have their own Brain/IQ, so we can't comment and control what other is doing, untill you have not done something wrong to other

Am I too paranoid? What is the chance of her f**king it up for me? Zero chances , CIC don't opena nd see all previous file form same company as soon as they got new CEC application from same company with same role . hope it is clear

You guys worry too much. You can't stop other people from applying under the wrong NOC with the same duties as yours, and that's not gonna affect you in any way. Unless of course, you are not so confident you applied under the right NOC yourself :P Even in that case, CIC won't look back at your application unless someone report you, and they still have to review your VO's decision. Overall the chance of revoking PR is close to nil, as long as you didn't blatantly misrepresent information...

I didn't misrepresent anything, I even wrote a letter of explanation with all the flags explained, I fully disclosed my history and personality to the VO. FULLY. So I don't worry about misrepresenting I am worrying about inconsistencies because of other idiots, sorry to say that, but that person is an idiot since not claiming Noc B as Noc B is not only bad image to our company but also a kind of misrepresentation.

But now that I read your comment I calmed down a bit. Thank you. I didn't think they would check it against my letter of ref anyways, too much time involved that CIC doesn't have, but when it comes to my thinking of ever losing my PR I get panic attacks...
