I got a rejection recently. The visa officer was not satisfied with my job responsibility as noted in my refference letter. I am an Accountant, storng educational background, working in a Big company for the last 05 years. there is no any other issues for rejection in the Rejection Letter such as less points/poor IELTS/Financial Solvency/ ect. but my case was refused on very silly ground. now there is no any opportunity that i can reapply as bkz. my NOC 1111 is out of the present NOC which is recently changed on 26/06/10.
any Seniors/ Sufferers from any place in the world pleeeeeeeeease help.

Sorry to know that. May I ask which office you applied? I am also in the same NOC, I am keeping my fingers crossed that VO will be satisfied with the reference letter from my current employer..

Don't lose hope. I read here one applicant who was refused initially then appealed to the high commissioner/minister and successfully got his visa..

You may want to write to VO and ask the reasons for not being satisfied and if he any additional document can satisfy him that you meet the requirement. Else the other way would be to appeal, again costly affair and no surety

if you think that you have been unfairly refused than you can write email or letter to immigration minister canada as well. i know the same cases who were refused like that but their files were reopened once they wrote to minister.

These days these I see applications are refused based on visa officer's feeling about job description. With huge list of applicants, they sure have to do this if they have to meet their targets ...

And please let us know what is the "Silly Reason" for which he refused your case.
What is your IELTS score in each sections.

Dont lose your hope as other members said.

Applicants with Noc like 1111,4131, 0213 which is currently off the list are on the scanner of the VO as they just want only a handful to reach the Canadian shores.
So a slight deviation found in filled docs could lead to a rejection and file closure, and here many do not succeed in their mercy petition.
So my request to all in these NOC is to just PRAY,PRAY and PRAY.

I heard about the same incident about one person 1 week before. He is a financial manager of a buying house and doing job for 10 years. All of a sudden he received a rejection letter from SG VO stated that his job descriptions are not satisfactory. He was an applicant of March'2010. I think you should raise your voice against this injustice. Best wishes for you and your family.

What is your ILETS score in each section , kinldy write we can be helped by your information sharing regarding this, and i will suggest you to appeal to High commissionar for your right, who is visa office to reject you on ILETS backgroung whence you are eligible in 1st stage, you might have mentioned score accordingly.
2- there is never mentioned to send score in spesific band in guid, you can give VO this reffrence too.

@squarebd: I also received a rejection letter today from my VO (Mexico City), this is the reason for rejection:

"I am not satisfied that you are a COMPUTER AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER NOC: 0213"

I feel this is very unfair and makes me wonder why the CIO did not think the same when I first sent my application and now my VO contradicts CIO decision. I'm also looking for an option to appeal this decision... please share any information you may have on this...

Sorry to hear about the rejection

CIO Just has the info you provide in a form , you are not providing them with supporting docs hence 99 % people go through positively at CIO Level

The VO the luxury of scrutinize the docs you provide,mostly they go on merit but some times it depends on the discretion of the V Officer

You must discuss the issue with your consultant and file a review petition.
