Any body encounter error at electronically signing step when submitting online

It keeps saying message as below when i am submitting application online at the step of electronically signing my application.

Your answer is incomplete. Provide the necessary information below to continue. •The name, date of birth or country of birth you entered for your signature does not match the name you entered in your Online Application. To submit this Online Application, the names must match. Only the applicant can electronically sign this Online Application.

I am submitting IMM5710 Application, it require given name and last name to finish this step. My last name is HSIEH, given name(s) is LUNG-CHIEN. I am pretty sure I punch the right names, it is the same names i filled on IMM5710, but it keeps saying my signature i entered does not match my online application. I really don't know what's going on. Do anybody facing the same problem or anybody know how to solve this problem?

I had a similar problem where it displayed an error page after I signed the page. Maybe give it a few try. I ended up sending paper application but my friend was able to send an online one a few days ago

The happen is still here, hopefully someone could help. Is it the CIC website got some problem? I've re-did it again and again ! I couldn't solve the problem. What can I do . . .

First thing > How are you uploading your form IMM5710 ?

Method 1.)

Did you Fill IMM5710 > Save > Validate and > Printed > Signed with Pen and uploading this scanned file as PDF ?

or

Method 2.)
You Fill IMM5710 > Save > Validate and then uploading this Saved PDF file ?

IF you follow Method 1 then there is a high chance that u will get this error because your name is not uploaded in their system. (It is Blank in their records and its not matching with what you are entering here at the signing time ). IMM5710 or any form which has VALIDATE button is a smart form, when CIC website reads this uploaded form I think it reads all the fields from this form automatically and updates their database. Another indication that your name is not loaded in the system : If you are not able to see your name in the section where u are uploading your PDF Files , it should show your name there LUNG-CHIEN HSIEH .

If you upload documents for your dependents then it must show their individual names in the fields below as Heading where u are done with uploading their PDf files which have VALIDATE Button.

So follow Method 2 and I believe your problem should be solved.

Scenario 2 .

If you have already followed Method 2 then may be server could not read this file properly So upload this file again using Method 2 and after uploading this file sucessfully it should start showing your name LUNG-CHIEN HSIEH in the section where u are uploading your file.

It happened to me, when I opened the form with another browser it fixed the problem. try using internet explorer

I tried it but the same problem kept popping up, is it a problem with my forms? Or am I typing the name in a wrong way??

I have had this same problem now for three days. I have tried every possible combination of names and even redid my entire application form. I have tried different browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and nothing seems to work. Has anybody been able to submit an online application in the last three days ?

i have the same problem and i believe that is the system problem. CIC should fix it...........the section shows my name.

Hello,

to anyone who might stumble upon this conversation as I did, whenever you receive the aformentioned message, it is because something is slightly different on your form than it is in your account. In my case, I spent 3 weeks wondering about this message when finally I discovered that my only error was that for a country of birth I put Czechoslovakia instead of Czech Republic (which is true but previously I put the latter one). Anyway, after that it worked and I could submit my application.

Was this ever resolved. I have tried EVERYTHING that I can think of and have been stuck for over a week, one click away from submitting my application.
