Any application filled after september with NOC 2283 and returned so far

Hi Everyone,

I have applied my PR in Nov 2014 under NOC 2283 and curious to know if anyone got their application with this NOC code who applied after the month of September.

Hope your valuable inputs will help many people who has the same question to be answered.

Yes. my friend who applied in the month of November under 2283 NOC got his file two days back. He lives in Toronto.

I'm planning to apply for EE NOC 2283 next year, any troubles to apply NOC 2283 rather than NOC 2173.

Hello,

I am working as a Test Lead (Software Testing) with around 8 Years of Experience in India. I am creating profile for express entry under Canada FSWP but i am confused between following NOC Codes:
1. 2173 - Software engineers and designers
2. 2283 - Information systems testing technicians

According to my role and designation, NOC Code 2173 is applicable but according to job responsibilities, NOC Code 2283 is applicable.

I have seen post here regarding same confusion. So what you finally applied and is result positive?
