I did not email them as i did not cross the normal processing time yet. However, i believe that you will get visa because the delays mean they are considering your case in my humble opinion.This is the problem...they are taking alot of time. Hey guys, spoke to a local former VISA officer for Canada and the UK. He obviously doesn't work there anymore but he told me that there was a student who lost respective acceptance and admittance to his university but still had his application approved. He went to Canada and found another University to apply to.
As you are waiting since long, it is better to wait a little more if there is no need of urgent travelling somewhere. Hopefully you will get visa very soon, In sha Allah.

Riyadh refuses to give proper details. I emailed them saying it's gone way beyond the processing times and all they said was my application needs further verification. What further verification do they need? In just a student trying to get started with my studies, like many of us here
