VFS doesn't control processing times and I can't find any relevant contact info to enquire about my application.
Any updates? I applied on August 6, it's september 11, and classes have already started...didn't even get the message for my passport to go through.
I think this may be an urgent request since I'm missing classes. And if I miss too many I'll be withdrawn from the semester. Should I tell IRCC to try and hurry up? If so how?

Where did you apply from saudi arabia and was it paper based?
I am in a much worse situation...8 weeks passed and they are still verifiying. I have mailed them thrice and if I dont get it in the next two weeks, my entire year will get wasted.
Your entire year won't be wasted, you can attend the next semester! Most unis will allow that.
I did it online, not paper based.
no dear my program only has sept intake which is a sad thing. Whic university are you going and it also depend on you nationality?
I'm pakistani, I have a 7.5 band IELTS score, I graduated with an american diploma from an international school.
I also have visited the U.S, Turkey and China, I provided the visa stamps just to see if it'll boost me up. I'm headed to Regina, SK.

I'm just worried about the passport stamping, I hope that doesn't take as long as this.

Oh right...I am also Pakistan but I have only travelled to Canada apart from UAE, Jordon and Malaysia.
