Guys any one of you who applied through express entry or have any idea about pcc. After obtaining pcc from district or city, do we need to get verification from interior ministry as well. I am residing in Canada now and my father is obtaing pcc on my behalf so i want to clarify. Thanks

No need for that. Just a pcc in english is fine.

Thanks rafzy and also as i am outside of country so i wont be able to sign the pcc as some does required applicant signature, so what would be the best option for that

In pakistan, the father of the applicant can receive the pcc but he has to take his original cnic as well as the applicants cnic to show as a proof that he indeed is the real father.

The best way is to send a "Letter of Authority" attested by Pakistani High Commissioner in Canada. You can authorize your father or brother in that letter to get PCC on your behalf. There is absolutely no need to get it verified from interior ministry.

Your father can then take that letter to the PCC issuing authority and they will do the rest of the job.

I applied pcc through high commission of pakistan in Canada but as you know how things work here. Unfortunately, instead of giving me pcc in 4 months as they stated in application form, they informed me after I submitted everything that it will take one year so i asked my father to obtain it. Currently he has got signature from different authorities of the district on application form and waiting to get sighned from SSP on actual PCC. But the format they have required my signature so i asked my father to get new print without the colum of applicant signatures. Also they have mentioned on the form my homecountry adress and present addres in Canada.

I hope it will workout for you....that is a good idea to remove that applicant's signature column...If SSP signs it then I think you are good...

I hope it will work and also on the PCC it's mentioned that my father is obtaining my pcc on my behalf and they will stamp i, issued in the absence of applicant. I obtained a similar pcc from lahore back in 2010 so i hope in my city they wont make an issue
