Hi there,
I'm a software engineer working canada. I'm planning to apply for my PR through CEC after couple of months. When I went through the document checklist, I could see that Birth Certificate is mandatory. Now the problem is the date of birth in my birth certificate is different from DOB in my 10th standard and passport. If I go to change my DOB in passport and all other legal documents, it would end up in a mess.
So is there any alternatives for birth certificate, which I can produce for the PR submission. My SSLC( Secondary School Leaving Certificate) doesn't have place of birth field itself, but have my DOB and my parents name. And my passport have place of birth.
I have heard that an affidavit would do the purpose, but didn't get any confirmation on that from anyone.
Please help.
Thanks
Sumesh
